If anyone has been following the Amanda Knox case, the American college student sentenced to 26 years in an Italian prison may go free today. Verdict is to be announced 3:30 PM EST (3 Mins from now) on MSNBC.

This is great news, an injustice reversed.

I have always felt she was innocent. Especially after they completely destroyed the DNA evidence that was pretty much put in place to make them look guilty.

That was the most flawed investigation I ever heard of, they wrapped up the investigation in 4 days.

I hope she makes millions off it, she spent 4 years in prison for something she didn't do.

You know what stinks though, even with this overturned, it will be years and years before she can live a normal life. If you are accused of a crime you are always deemed guilty in the eyes of the public unfortunately.

Normally I would agree, but the majority of Americans thought she was innocent, and she will be back in America and I think she will receive tons of support. Now Casey Anthony on the other hand... wont go there

Sadly modern justice systems are more like sports competitions rather than truth finding ventures.

And as such you will always have "fans" of one side declaring their side the best regardless of the outcome.
