Almost bricked phone?

OK: I used RSD and tried flashing a recovery file onto my phone, i ended up getting code corrupt. I then flashed a different recovery file: ESE81 or something like that, and it worked.

So now my phone has 0 battery life, no service, i can't sync my google account to get back my easy root application (the reason i did this in the first place) because every time i go to accounts and sync it force closes and i get process system is not responding message every time. I can not get my phone to stay on for more than 3 minutes, and when i plug it into a charger the light is on however it keeps turning on then off and continuously reboots. Help?

I tried pressing x while booting up, but when it isn't on the usb cord it doesn't have the power to turn on, and when it is on the usb charger (plugged into the wall) the light is on inside the port, and it just continuously boots on and off, there isn't a time for me to be able to press x to boot up like that. I'm freaking out a little bit... any ideas?

I believe ESE81 is for 2.1 ROMs, not 2.2 (assuming you were already on the OTA to FRG22D..?). Lets see what we can come up with for you, just breathe and hang tight...

Yeah, i had FRG22D, I wanted to get to the FRG01B so that I could use my easy root. I had no idea this would happen, but sure i'd be happy to wait, thank you. Is there anything i should be doing to the phone, since it being plugged in, it's constantly dying then rebooting then staying on for two minutes then dying, etc?

I'm not familiar with any of the "easier" rooting apps out there because they weren't around when I decided to root mine...but I was a complete noob and did it the "hard" way but have had 0 issues. I know that was all irrelevant as far as helping you, I'm sorry! The problem is that the first E in the file you flashed stands for Eclair (2.1). The F in FRG01B and FRG22(D) means Froyo (2.2). So, if your build is a 2.1 and 2.2 programming was to it, they're "fighting" each other. Still hunting to see what I can find for you though buddy!

since the battery is at 0% (for the record it was full before this entire process) it is telling me i can't program it because the battery is too low...

and thank you both for the help so far, it helps to have people who have a (much) better idea of what they're working with than myself.

please do not use easyroot, there are a number of simple ways to root, plus we are here to provide guidance. Easyroot has caused more problems the helped. A goow app to keep on your phone yo unroot if you ever need to is the droidmod updater 12 app.

so it will charge, even though it's constantly turning on and off because it keeps dying while it's on charge?

He would know ALOT more than me, I'm still learning too! He has already mentioned what I came up with as well. I will be following along as this continues on too though. Relax, you're not bricked and the mods and rescue squad are INCREDIBLY (no pun) intelligent and stuff like this is great for learning too! They'll get you straight and back on track so don't worry and do exactly what they say, step by step and you'll be fine.

Have you tried seeing if it will charge on the USB while connected to the computer?
