Alerts, msgs, notifications... all in one place. Is this possible?

Here is a lockscreen mod for the iphone that i like:
Seems to show weather, sms, mail, missed calls/voicemails, Things app, calendar appts, and the Todo app, all at a glance.

How close can the droid get to this, either on the lockscreen or elsewhere? I'd love to be able to do this!

That is cool and a "Today" screen is helpful, but to me a Lock screen is just that, Locked.

Im sure at some point down the road an app will be written.
