Unique Notification ringtones for Voice Mail vs. Calendar items

I'm trying to adjust my notification ringtones so that the tone I hear for a voice mail is different from the tone I hear for a calendar alert.

So far I have not been able to find the right path for that.

I'd appreciate some guidance, or the reply that it is not possible.

If you open the app that you use for Calendar, you should have a notification area that you can adjust the notification tone. The same for voice mail (unless if maybe you are using stock) as I know that Google Voice has an option to add a "specific notification sound"....
