After JB, no longer able to tether

It is aggravating that after the JB update I can no longer USB tether to my mobile computer. I didn't mind having to do so via USB, but now it is insisting on upgrading to Mobile Hotspot.

Any options available?

foxfi. and if your rooted wifi tether.. or sql hack

PdaNet/Foxfi works splendidly and is well worth the few $$$. Even with having to use the new lockscreen.
