ADW vs Launcher Pro

Im all about launcher pro. I like the style and ways it can be customized. I also like the ability to hide apps.

they both have their pros and cons. im using LPP right now but ADW is still good. Go Launcher is another one to watch.

LiveHome, free from the Market. The "effects" are VERY cool. It's very programmable, and a lot of fun to play around with.

I've used both Launcher Pro and ADW, and I've had a smoother experience with ADW. I like the customization options it has, including themes and custom shortcuts. Either one is good, I'd say try both out for awhile and see which one you like better.

The dockbar in lpp is the big sell for me. I like keeping my screams clear, so that gets 15 apps/ shortcuts off the homescreen.

Although this topic has been beaten to the ground, ADW for me.

+1 I really like the way you can get a clean screen with the scrolling dock...lpp is my choice for now.

Count another as +1

Standalone I find ADW faster. But when Launcher Pro is built into a rom as main launcher it runs better for me than if adw is built in as main launcher.

I've used LPP for a while, but had to switch to ADW as it works better with Rubix on the X. LPP is option and feature rich. ADW gets the job done and has some nice features too but isn't quite the total package LPP is overall.
