Thanks Anne, will this work for any email say from comcast or road runner? eg would I use this for comcast as well "pop3.live.com ,SMTP server: smtp.live.com
Port: 587
Security type: TLS "?

It should. Try it and see. If not, use Google to find out what the settings should be for each of those accounts.

I have verizon, I just moved to droid 3 from an HTC Eris.

I can't figure out for the life of me how to get the email app to let me add multiple email accounts. The old phone just had a menu option in email but this doesn't.

alright I figured it out but how to I switch between email accounts?

Once both emails are setup:
Long press at the homescreen, click short cut at the pop up window
Scroll down to email, it should let you choose with account to shortcut to. Choose one
Then repeat for the other.

Should work.
