Add button grayed out - not responding

"Add" button menu item not responding, also "More" button is gone.

Nothing at this time, however, it used to bring up additional menu items.

Sorry, I'm not understanding what you are trying to do. What app are you referring to? What are you taping that does not bring up additional menu items?

I deleted a recent widget on the homescreen and now the add button is working - it brings up "add to home screen" shortcuts, widgets,folders, wallpapers. I had added a widget (i think) and that screwed up the "add" function. Thanks for the concern and replies.

Normally that happens when a screen is full of shortcuts/widgets and you are unable to add additional items to that particular screen.
