Acura TL HandsFreeLink Call Pickup After Dial

I dial on the Droid and want the car bluetooth to take over. I've had inconsistent results in the car where I can sometimes get the call to the HFLink. Can anyone with HFLink help with the steps to consistently take over the call dialed from my Droid? When not in the car, my bluetooth headset picks up the call just fine after I dial. (Yes, I know voice dial doesn't work)

I know this thread has gone stale, but I have always had this same problem with my previous phones (Palm Treo & Centro) as well as my wife's iPhone. We have 2004 Acura TL and 2008 Acura MDX.

Did you ever get this to work? I was thinking this could be taken care of with an app. The app would watch for a call to connect and after 1 second it would switch to Bluetooth. Haven't seen an app like that though.
