able to use froyo swype theme on gb swype?

I am using the blu-haze theme on my x with gb liberty.4. Can I flash a zip from a froyo themed swype to my gb theme? I love the theme I'm using but my swype is still liberty gray/yellow. The swype theme I want to use is the bigdx crystal blue one. Would look perfect with this theme. thanks for any help.

just open up the zip and grab the apk and throw it in your system/app folder with root explorer. it might work it might not but it wont brick your phone might just get a force close

or you could even flash it just make a backup. whats the worse that could happen you'd have to restore a backup?

I just didn't know if there was a difference in swype software from froyo to gb. Didn't want to flash it and go into a bootloop or something.

Well I made a backup, tried to apply two different froyo swype themes. As soon as it rebooted swype would constantly force close. Looks like we need thebes made from gb swype and not froyo. Anyone up to it?
