I wonder if there's a way to bypass the initial swipe screen/function after pressing the hard on side button? I'd like to be able to go directly to the home screen after pressing that button.

thanks.

Jack

if there isnt an option to turn off the lockscreen in settings, then nolock from the market should do it for you.

I did Settings/Location and Security/Set up screen lock/None "disable screen lock security" but that didn't eliminate the need to swipe. I think that's for those who don't use a pattern, PIN, pass word.

No Lock does the trick!

Thanks very much!

Jack.

I bought the power control plus app in the market and it has an option to eliminate any lock screen. When i press the side button it goes directly to where ever i was at last. Very good app has many options

Will nolock disable the swipe but still allow you to keep a pattern? I just came to the Razr from an OG droid, and I liked pressing the button and going directly to my unlock pattern screen. Now i have to press the button, swipe, and then I'm at my pattern screen. Just want to bypass the swipe and keep my security pattern.

With power control plus you can set it to go directly to your pattern lock or no lock or swipe at all

i just installed nolcok and it bypasses the pattern also... but im gonna play with it more

ya there are no settings. so nolock bypasses pattern also. lame.

I have used "No Lock" for several days. I then found that my external speaker had been disabled. After doing some digging around, I determined that apparently the "speaker/no speaker" button in the middle of the swipe screen had mysteriously been changed to "no speaker" in spite of the fact I had not seen the swipe screen since installing "No Lock".
