A little help

Hey whats up guys,
I'm new to the ROM scene. I've tried about three times to install a rom on my droid x2 and all times i have failed. My question is, would there be anyone available to maybe IM with me and help me with the whole process. By "help me" i mean pretty much walk me through the process step by step and just be on hand so i could make sure that I'm doing it correctly. I know this is a pretty bothersome request, but if someone would not mind helping me it would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know by posting on this thread or sending me a message.

This is what i used to flash my first ROM. Upgrade Motorola Droid X2 to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich Via MIUI 4 Droid X2 System Recovery + Instruction - xda-developers

I like that ROM, it looks very nice! But it is still somewhat confusing to me, i just need someone to walk me through it rather than trying to follow the steps. it seems i get mixed up in the steps and confused
