A Challenge

I am trying desperately to move a folder with files from my SD card, to my home screen. I am working with Root Explorer, and I have tried everything. I have been beating my head for three days now trying to accomplish this. I have tried "Bookmark" as an option within Root Explorer, and I have no idea where that bookmark goes. I looked in shortcuts on the my home screen, but bookmark here directs you to the internet. HELP!

Do you need to move the folder or just access it? I use Astro file explorer. From homescreen I opened the shortcut menu and it gave me an Astro option. I don't know if Root Explorer does the same, but it did give me a shortcut to any folder on the sd card.

Simply amazing. I thought I had a file manger that did everything, and then jleeusa came along and suggested Astro File Manager, and it worked flawless. Thank you so much.
