hey guys, first post

so i FINALLY got my upgrade. I waited so i could get the 100 dollars off, so i ended up payin 99 for my X...(sweet) and its now on the way!!!!! (ive had a dare for the last 2 years if that tells you anything)

anyways..i need the be all and end all thread of things to do when i get my X.. so far I have on my list
Ghost armor to be put on,
Cut the GPS off
download spareparts and ATK..
.waiting on extended battery to see if it fits with otterbox...

what other suggestions do you guys have?

also, has anyone used the Ghost armor? curious about surface finish over the camera lens and screen.

Thanks
JC

Find the thread titled"how to keep your droid x running snappy"and follow the instructions. At the very least download Launcher Pro. Following that tutorial made a huge coherence in how my x behaves.

ok so..no task killer, lol

Not sure why people are anti ATK, I think it works great.

Seems as though there are no way to turn off apps once they
are started. At times when i check ATK, there are 6-8 apps running
that i was not even using.

All that "let droid monitor ur apps", sounds good, but can someone
give me a more technically sound argument against it.

Sent from my Droid X which will close my K-9 email using ATK dancedroid

ive read that if you hit the back key instead of the home key it will end your app.

+1 for how to keep your droid x running snappy. If you follow the instructions it works great. I tried with and without the ATK and can not see a diff. in speed so i left it off.
