Wow. 99.00 Droid Maxx on 2yr conract now. Trade in a working smartphone and get minimum 100.00 rebate/credit. Mostly free this way. Only good till 17th this month.
Might be time to trade in the Rezound.

I picked it up last week at Best Buy for $50. They are selling it for $99 and an automatic $50 GC.

It sounds like with VZW you need to give them your old phone and then wait for your $100 GC. A better deal though, but a little but of a hassle.

It's also $399 off contract right now. I've been wanting to get a Moto X, but given the current $20 difference between a 32GB Moto X and the MAXX (along with the slightly larger screen), this is mighty tempting for the battery.

Resistance was futile. I used my upgrade for a new Maxx. Hope it's as good as I've heard and read.
With a stroke of luck was even able to keep my unltd data and get the subsidized price of 99 on contract.

Go the Moto X, you won't regret it.

How on earth did you manage that

I'm a very lucky man. Seems it's a perk in my companies contract with Verizon. Not positive though.
I log into Verizon through our corporate portal. Did the upgrade and it didn't take away the unltd data/web feature.
The company is a rather large Verizon customer. We have approx 170k employess worldwide.
Might be a s/w glitch to. I printed out the contract and all features in case of issues when I activate it.
Don't think they can renege at this point. I'm so lucky. I'm off to buy lotto tickets. lol

Hope the Maxx is all I've read about it. I've scoured many forums, support forums and Motorola support site. Seems like a solid phone.
Didn't see too many issues with it. Better be good as I just signed away another 2yrs.
I have a single plan which isn't the best for minutes etc. Can't beat the unltd though. Like others with unltd I didn't want to give it up.
Good for another 2yrs w/ unltd I hope.

I was thinking of switching to the moto x just cause my battery life on my maxx sucks. I got kit Kat and after that my battery life went down hill.

You kept the unlimited plan, if I may ask, what did you have to pay for the phone.
Thanks.

177.00...99.00 Maxx....Upg fee 30.00...tax 47.00
Will do the Verizon smart phone trade in gift card 100.00
Motorola trade in 100.00 if I can find a cheap trade in
Basically 0 except for the tax and upgrade fee
Too good to pass up.

Not impossible if you have more than one line. I've been paying $10 for an extra line that I don't ever use...I had a Razr Maxx for almost 3 years. Went in and upgraded the extra line to the new Droid Maxx. Then I had the sales rep switch the phone to my line, replace the Razr Maxx...then I turned in my Razr Maxx for a $100 credit. I've had my unlimited data plan for now since 2008 or 2009. That extra $10 a month has paid off. ;)
