.605 on it's way..............Sept. 19

I just got it this morning. 8mb file was the download. I installed it, but haven't noticed any difference with anything............of course I didn't notice any issues with the keyboard either but I use Swype all the time.

If the update isn't showing up try this trick that I learned recently: update PRLs and then check for updates.

1) Dial *22899. Wait for it to do it's thing--until it hangs up on you.
2) phone settings > about phone > software update

I tried a few weeks ago on a Droid 2 Global that wasn't getting the update and it worked!

So I downloaded the update but didn't try to install, THEN read what it was for in this thread, don't need it but prompted to install. tried to install, Failed, don't need it anyway, how can I delete?

Rooted stock 602...

I'm tired of turning off X only to have it reboot. But every time I have updated they screw something else up. At least I can now make calls without rebooting. I can't wait till I can dump this piece of crap for iphone5
