4g sim card question

Ohyea!

Member
Recently I flashed a kit kat rom on my S4 and it killed my 4g sim card. Should I always remove the sim card before flashing? is flashing a sim card killer? FWIW I flashed my Galaxy Nexus many many times and never had any issues. So maybe it was a coincidence?

Sorry, Jeffery, but flashing affected my SIM card to the point USCC replaced the card. After I upgraded OTA, I had multiple problems. After USCC reinstalled 4.4.2 via their USB, I still had messages that the SIM card was updating on a regular basis and 4.4.2 was still not working properly. After the SIM car replacement and a reinstall of 4.4.2, everything is working great.
