4G not working after ICS update

So, along with the battery life problems, my MAXX can't use 4G anymore. I had the same problem on my Galaxy Nexus (Also ICS) so I am not sure if it is just ICS in general that is the problem. My phone says I have 4G, full bars, but nothing works. My browser acts like there is no service, as do my widgets

No, I don't. I have unlimited data so I moved cap way up.

go to settings and data usage and at the top make sure mobile data is on

It is on and the limit is completely off. This is exactly the same problem I faced on my Nexus...I have full bars of 4G and my phone acts as if I have no service whatsoever. 3G still works perfectly

Also, I should note that on android 2.0 my 4G worked flawlessly
