I know from reading the reviews that there are people who have stopped using handcent and gosms because their Facebook contact pictures will not show up. I have found a temporary fix and wanted to post in case anyone on the internet searches.
To have facebook pictures appear in handcent or gosms download another app called Sync.Me, this app syncs facebook information and pictures into contacts. It makes the contact pictures as if they are on your phone's memory. This makes the pictures show up on the 3rd party sms. Hopefully somebody somewhere finds this information useful.
