3g Mobile Hotspot

It works for about 3 to 5 minutes. Then it stops working. I get a lost data link in the notification bar. I re-start the services it works again for a few minutes then it stops working again. I have 5 bars inside the condo, fantastic connection.

The problem is not limited to a particular location. It happens anywhere. i.e. Tampa Fl vs Lake Placid Fl.

Any advice?

I didn't get any hits here so I went to the VZW corporate store 30 minutes ago. I told them about my issue and I am here to resolve the issue. I am going to Puerto Rico tomorrow for a week and I need it fixed.

They told me the update is been pushed next Thursday that will fix the issue. I said what update. They told me 2.2. I said you are wrong. That is not due until Sept. She went and got the service manager he read the email from behind the desk.

For some reason I do not believe them.

Plug the phone to a wall charger. Shut down the phone and take out the battery for 45 seconds and then place the battery back in and turn the phone back on.
