This has been going on since before gingerbread rolled out. I'm stock, not even just browsing, certain apps, widgets and markets lose all connectivity.
Happened prior to gb. Dial*22801, that resets the tower you are using. It fixes it, but only for a few days or until I leave the range of the "good" tower.
