2nd letter capitalized on fascinate?????

when i am typing something into say the google search or other app why does the second letter keep coming up capitalized like the first. i keep having to delete the 2nd letter and type it in again. it doesnt do this when i am using swype or sending a text, mostly happeneds when im using the browser, or another app...and ideas?
