I have a Droid 2 on the main line (mine) and I have a Droid X on a secondary line (g/f)

I want to switch which phone is on each account... I want the DX and the g/f to have the D2.

how do I do this on a verizon account.dancedroid

I have an idea.... but want to make sure Does it require a factory reset on both devices?

ok.... trying to think.... when the Dx (not activated yet) goes to get activated... if the D2 is factory reset, can I choose the line I want the DX to be on, and then again, choose the line I want the D2 on?

You would have to reset both and then *228 to activate them on whatever line you want. If I am not mistaken.

You can swap phone numbers without a factory reset....

But you need a factory reset to remove the primary gmail account on the device.

Well one thing I know is tonight at work im going to be worthless...lol

Sent from my Droid 2 while driving. Thankyou Tapatalk

Just had to call the 800 customer service number. Had to wipe the data on both. Then had to dial *228 and set up my gmail. Same gmail on both lines. D2 updated all 200 apps last night automatically but the ex was acting up. Got it figured lot though and its going great now.
