2.3.3 install message

Newbie but not technically challenged. Just bought Verizon DROID x2. Updated to 2.2.3 THEN I rooted it for wireless sharing purposes only. Works great. Love the phone. Now I keep receiving popup to install what I just installed. I click later to make it go away but it keeps popping up. Any clues? Don't want to unroot just to reinstall. I appreciate any input.

You'd be better off updating to 2.3.4.

Here's my SBF guide and download links contained in it to everything you need to update.

Afterwards use zergRUSH or Petes Motorola Root Tools to gain root access again.

I appreciate the info. I have downloaded everything now i will wait until tonight when the kids go to sleep. lol battery will be 100%. i will post results tomorrow. thanks again.

You may want to flash the battery reporting fix here or you will have incorrect battery remaining after a reboot if not at 100% when rebooting
