Getting switched to a Droid X2 from a Droid X by Asurion, have a couple of questions.

So apparently because I've had to call three times I'm entitled to a brand new phone (not a refurb) and they don't have any more Droid X's so they're giving me an X2. Hey, I'm not complaining. Have a couple of questions though.

1) I have a ROM Manager backup of my CM7 install that I was using on my Droid X. Can I just restore that ROM onto the new X2 or do I need a separate build of the ROM?

2) I have the SBF'ing software on my computer and some stock ROMs. I also have the Droid 3 rooting script. Is that all valid for the Droid X2 or do I need different stock ROMs and rooting methods?

Also this isn't really hacking related but I have an extended battery and battery cover, I can just pop those in to the Droid X2 right? Thanks in advance for any help.
