1.5 vs. 1.6

Well, we hear that the maps upgrade will be for 1.6 six users. The question is, who are they? I thought VZ was only shipping phones w/ 1.5?

Any Android device with 1.6 was given the maps upgrade.

Google Maps w/ Nav is not exclusive to Verizon.

I downloaded it on my (now Wifi only) G1 last night.
