Why No Bluetooth Voice Dial Yet?

I have had my Droid since January and I love it. It is the most amazing phone I have ever owned. The only complaint I have is the lack of Bluetooth Voice Dial. I have seen other threads on it but have yet to understand why Google does not make this simple addition to their Droid based phones. Even the dumbest phones have this.

I realize that for some this may not be important. I work 2 jobs, 75 miles apart and drive a great deal. I can't pull over every time I need to make a phone call but have to stay in touch with employees and clients. The Voice Dial feature works, sort of, but I still have to look at my phone - and away from the road - in order to see if it found the right number and then tell it to call that number. Many, many times it does not find the right number and I have to start over.

Does anyone have an answer as to why this feature is being ignored?
