I REMEMBER NOW!! The "Saw" movies are my fav lol

The Saw films are good. A bit confusing as they went along, but I watched the Final Chapter recently. To me it was good with a "quick and dirty" story wrapping things up. Glad they did. (though once again, the ending was left open)

Lol'd hard at the mention of ThanksKilling... watched that on instant queue. Besides the extreme boob closeup to start the film (best opening scene ever), that movie was painfull... Which is on purpose I guess. But if your going for best worst horror movie... the award goes to Troll 2.... no question (also, on Netflix Instant.. check it out... you won't be disapointed)....
As for actual good horrors.. I love all the classics.. Freddy, Jason, Michael, Leatherface etc... The Shining is probably my all time fav... All these new remakes are pretty lame (Omen, NMOES etc.)... The new trend of torture porn horror is just allright, I prefer scary to gross.

Good point Urban. Sometimes they aren't as scary as when we were younger. In adulthood, it's more difficult to be scared from a movie. We expect to see bad things happen.

I wasn't even alive when it came out, but my parents were saying how scary it was and how paramedics were lined up outside for hysteria. I initially watched it when I was about 13. It was stupid then, too.

I have seen the trailer, and although I'm sure Hopkins gives a great performance along with good cinematography, I'm just not sure if I can get into this type of film. I'll give it a shot once it's on DVD though.

This movie has always freaked me out. Especially the scene where they strap Bill Pullman to the chair and hammer the nail through his sac.

resident evil (all parts)
saw (all parts)
wrong turn (all parts)
ghost rider (all parts)
silent hill

I like above all movies and always like to watch that movies again.
