what's with the ads on droid 4?

    I did not get all these ads on droid2. How can I turn them off?

    ads on D4

    Many different ads which appear as web links on notification bar.

    They are coming from apps you've installed. There's one called Airpush Detector I think that will help you determine which ones are are causing the ads so you can uninstall them.

    Earlier someone mentioned that "go MSG or keyboard" something lol, was causing this earlier.

    I installed adpush detector and it did not show anything. Does it just reveal app causing the problem when the ad is displayed?

    Yes, Airpush Detector will display the app that is putting the ads out.

    Thank you all. Airpush Detector identified Personal Assistant App as the culprit. I uninstalled it and all is good now.:icon_ banana:

    i had this same issue with an ICS theme for GO Launcher. I was ready to take the phone back until I figured out what was causing it...

    As far as i have heard most of them prefer Airpush Detector try them out...
