What went wrong??

I was rooted and have been since first of Dec. Two weeks ago I installed Liberty and every thing was great till this morn. I was dodly in the toolbox when it stoped working. The 3G. Syn went away and a small red circle with a line in it position itself above the bars.
I went to the nano black up and install the next to last backup that I made-- l flashed it and it restored me back to 2.3.2 --- what- - why??

The backup you restored was probably what you made of 2.3.20. You should still be rooted. And for future reference before going straight for the nandroid backup try going to airplane mode and then back normally that fixes it. Also as soon as you flash a rom and you play with it long enough to realize it is stable I recommend making another nandroid backup of your rom. Just reinstall Liberty and you should be fine.
