I used to use NewsRob, was pretty good. I tried out NewsRoom and really liked it, trial was up and purchased full version, but what do others use?

I've also tried RSS, PureRSS and AndRead.

I use Beyond Pod for downloading and listening to Podcasts and Widget Board to display the headlines for the news feeds I find most interesting. I haven't tried any others but think I will give the ones mentioned here a look and see if I like them.

I use NetaShare, but I'm going to check out FeeR since there are so many + on it.

I'm happy with the Google Reader Mobile Site as well.

I don't see the need for another application. I've been tempted, but every time I look into one I'm not convinced that I need a stand alone application to handle my RSS.

    Filter-able RSS Feed Reader

So I have been looking for a RSS reader that will allow me to add filters to a particular feed so that I can filter out only the topics that I want. I am really interested to try FeedR, but I don't want to pay for it when I get a perfectly good feed reader in PureRSS. Does anyone know if FeedR, or another reader allows for filtering the feeds? Note, I'm not looking to search. I only want certain topics to show up in a given feed.

What I have done, for those who may be curious about this as well, is used the free online service at Filter RSS feeds with Feed Rinse. Basically you create a free account, give them the URL to the feed you want to "rinse" and then you can set a plethora of filters on the feed. You will then be given a new feed URL that you can point your reader to. It works like magic, but I'd rather remove this extra step if I could. Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)
