What is this icon that has recently appeared in the notification area? It shows up on the right, next to the "3G" icon.

I'm on Gingerbread, not-rooted.

Thanks.

Hope all is well for everyone. Thought i would ask and see if anyone might be able to help. I have tried looking and can not find what this symbol represents.
Thanks,
Matt

Speaking of location services, do I need to have Verizon & Google location services checked when I am not using GPS? Is there an advantage of one over another? Both Verizone and Google are checked by default.

This is just my guess, but I believe the Verizon location services uses the Verizon cell towers to locate you, while Google location services uses Google's database of server locations to locate you.

I'm pretty sure the Google and Verizon is what's pouring the local monitoring/advertisement spam.
