Clear cache and data on Google maps then uninstall updates. Go ahead and let it update again. Seen this on multiple phones including mine. Location services going crazy after the last map update.

Ok so google locations is still eating my battery this morning. Losing about 1.3% per hr when the phone is not in use. Much better than yesterday but still nothing award winning.

So it looks like google services is still haywire. Google bookmark sync? 657 times waking my device? So I disabled it. Hope this fixes me

Just an update. I am currently sitting at over 33 hours with 40% left. The culprit was my signal. When I travel back and forth to work the signal would get too low and drain my battery. So I downloaded juice defender ultimate and set it to cut off all radios when I lock the screen. I couldnt be happier with my battery life now. Thank you to all who helped out
