Waiting for GingerCrack 2.3.3

Talked to Mike today, who helped this old man understand some things.
As I explained my Droid X2 was purchased from Verizon two weeks ago and it came factory with froyo. I immediately thought "I want to root it" so I did it using Gingerbreak, which was very simple. I installed titanium back up and had it set up nicely, but there were problems.
TEXTS kept repeating....which annoyed the heck out of me...Then on the 29th of June my phone indicated a update was needed, but since it was rooted, I could not update to Gingerbread. So I took the phone back to Verizion and swaped out for a new phone. I then did the update.
I have found after the update to Gingerbread, the phone is running better than the rooted version of froyo that I did previously. Even though I currently have lots of programs that cant be deleted....the phone is running flawlessly, so at this point I am staying with it.
Hopefully in the future if a GingerCrack comes out for me to simply run that would give me super user powers to delete some of currently un-deletable pre installed apps - thats all I want to do!

*please message me if this ever happens in the future and where to get the simple APK file. (I prefer a simple run and go - that allows super user)
Thanks

Not to get off the subject but did you give Verizon a rooted phone if so they will charge you full retail for that phone you should always sbf back to stock before giving them a phone back.

Now onto what you are talking about I don't see it happening real soon but there are ways around.d it im running rooted ginger right now just sbf back to froyo then dl the update.zip from xda site and run the bootstrap go into recovery then update zip and bam..........your rooted ginger

Hope that helped

Here is something a little better all the files you will need are in these two threads I know it looks hard but it really isn't. And word of advice don't panic if your phone boot loops when you go back to stock froyo just go into recovery then hit the wipe data and it will boot up just fine.

And learn to use punctuation! I don't care if your English isn't great, but I would guess you know for what a period is used.

Good point but I did remove my memory card and do a factory reset on the phone.....who knows if Verizon will ding me.... hope they dont do that cause I will make them pay, if they do try that, I will cancel with them --who cares if it costs me a $1000 bucks total....they will never get a single cent from me or my kids. --- The overall cost of them playing that game will cost them in the long run, but I will let you know.
Thanks for the comments!
