The above Tweet from Verizon's support staff confirms that the Gingerbread/Android 2.3 update may begin rolling out as early as today for the DroidX2. This newest version should be coming to your DroidX2 within the next few days, and it includes the same version of Blur that can be seen on the DROID3 and Bionic. It also includes a series of bug fixes to improve many aspects of your device. You can see Verizon's .pdf file detailing the update, here.
Even though the official rollout starts today, and a select few will probably start getting it, from the status of the Motorola focus group's soak test, it's likely that the full mass rollout may not start until Friday.
