The original flagship killer from OnePlus can now run the latest and greatest build of Android. There is now an unofficial build of Android 7.0 Nougat for the device. This is why it is so great to have a phone with an unlocked bootloader if you are going to have a phone for longer than a year and a half or so. OnePlus has received official builds of CyanogenOS, OxygenOS, HydrogenOS, MIUI 7, Sailfish OS and Ubuntu so it was only a matter of time before we saw a build of Android 7 on this phone.

This is an unofficial build so you can expect some bugs. Basic hardware functions are working fine, but some things like video hardware encoding are not working properly which means your camera will crash. The stock keyboard does not work so you would need to install a keyboard through adb. For now I would probably stay away from this rom unless you are looking to provide assistance to the developers with reporting bugs. If you would like to give it a try head to the link below.
