Unlock slider none responsive???

I am trying to fix an issue with my friends unlock slider. It shows up but when I try to move the slider there is no response. He wants to sell it and I am trying to get it operable to sell. If anyone knows of a trick up their sleeves I would take any advice!! Thanks in advance!
