If your phone is on vibrate you won't hear it.

When you place your phone on the charger you don't hear any sound?

The icon just spins, then makes a quick sound, and that's it. Now, I did see option to select wireless charging sound, so maybe folks have that check. Other then that, my phone is quiet while on the charger.

Where did you see that?

Realized it's in voicemail sound settings. So, it's probably not the reason. But, considering there is sound file named that, it could be elsewhere.
