Third Party Google Voice app?

Hello I have been looking for a third party google voice app for a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggg time :icon_eek:

I would love to be able to use something like Handcent to send sms via google voice!
Have any of ya'll had any luck finding an app.

Crazy to think it hasn't been developed yet.

I kind of want to become a developer just to make this app.

a gvoice widget would be perfect!

Try posting in Droid Apps forum. There is a thread in there asking about a GVoice widget.

I personally do not mind the one by google, works fine for me just lacks a widget.

Nope. It's a very specialized niche.

You can enable SMS forwarding in GV if you prefer using Handcent.

It would be gravy but I wouldn't say "need". It doesn't even have to be a 3rd party app. Submit your request to add features to the GV app.

Yeah but if you enable SMS forwarding you'll start getting charged for text messages, and isn't that the point? Avoiding charges for text messages?
