The OnePlus 5 was launched "live" on youtube yesterday. The whole experience was a bit stale. Carl Pei and colleagues read from teleprompters while standing in front of a green screen. There was no audience, and audience noise wasn't even added. However none of that mattered the OnePlus 5 brought all the excitement with it. The Specs were the least of the co-founder's worries. He flashed them on the screen to get them out of the way. When looking for a new phone specs are among some of the most important aspects to consumers. The phone specs are as follows. -OxygenOS with Android Nougat -5.5" FHD Optic AMOLED with Gorilla Glass 5 -2.45GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 w/ Adreno 540 GPU -Storage 64GB / 128GB UFS 2.1 -RAM 6GB/8GB LPDDRX4 -3300mAh battery with Dash Charge -20MP f/2.6 telephoto lens paired with 16MP f/1.7 lens -NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac -Fingerprint Reader, USB 2.0 type C, 3.5mm headphone jack -dimensions 152.7x74.7x7.25mm 153g -Dual nano SIM -Midnight Black, Slate Grey colors -$479 for the 6GB/64GB or $539 for the 8GB/128GB Overall this phone looks pretty amazing for the under $500 price tag. It may have a 2016 design, but everything indicates that this phone will have what it takes to compete with the big boys. Mine is already ordered. Is anyone else picking this up?
