The OG Droid is the only Droid that has gotten Facebook sync right.

I've got a list of phone numbers that I want synced with Facebook photos. The OG Droid does this flawlessly.

Unfortunately, this feature disappeared after the OG Droid. With the D2, DX, D2G, and all other MotoBlurred devices it seems you can only a.) add ALL your Facebook contacts to your list (even if they don't have phone numbers) or b.) have no sync at all.

The only fix I know of is the "SyncMyPix" third-party app, which gives you an unnecessary notification every time it syncs.

Not a question obviously, just a rant on why the OG Droid still owns and hopefully an appeal for a fix.

Seriously I wish Google would abolish carrier skins but leave them available for download in the market. Some of them are alright but mainly they're just a tool for carriers to impose crap on the user.

An ironic downside to open software, so open others are free to lock it up :)
