I had a lot of fun doing the challenge for our wounded veterans. During the challenge I learned a lot about myself. Even in coming up short (by 1.2 pounds) I still won because of the knowledge gained. Because of this I will be issuing myself a more elaborate challenge. This one will be harder as not only must I lose double the weight of my last challenge but I will have penalties along the way. These penalties were a result from what I learned about myself during the last challenge.
I invite each of you to join in by setting your own challenge and goals. Set it and post them so we can hold each other accountable. If you so choose to step it up even further find yourself a charity you are passionate about and make the goal to donate to that charity.
For me that charity will again be veteran related as 11/11 is Veteran's Day.

So do you accept the challenge?

I will post my challenge rules for myself below in the next post.

Below is my new challenge

Veteran's Day challenge 11/11/18:

Rules

  • Have to lose 50 pounds. Every pound I'm off is a $.10 per pound penalty

  • Requires weekly weigh in. Every week I miss is a $.30 penalty

  • Can not go over 11,600 calories a week. Every calorie im over is a .10 per calorie penalty. Cannot including calories burned during workouts to get me in that calorie range. Calories burned during workouts will not be counted at all.

  • Can only have 2 junk days (junk days are days that I may indulge in sweets as that has proven to be a weak area for me that I need to control) and those day no more than 35 percent (560 calories) may be for junk. Failure of that is a .10 per calorie penalty.

  • Each extra work out earns me a point. Those points can be spent to eat out (ie pizza). But must have the calories available to eat the food (i.e pizza).

I said I would be open so I'll be making two donations. I'll donate to @Sajo charity he posted.

I bust 2000 calories twice.

Overall been doing good as I started two a days this week.

Whoops. I still have 1584 calories left. So if i go over that tomorrow I'll have to pay a penalty

The week I've only consumed 10016 calories which is about 1669.33 calories a day. A little high than I want but still in my range.

I will be making my donation.

Thanks to all that served. Oh as far as progress, I was 40 pounds short. I am curious about something though. Ill further elaborate in a week or two. I am about to eliminate something from my diet for 2 weeks to see if that may have been a bad addition.
