I'm working with 2 android phones, trying to get textsecure to actually work. And I warn you all that think it's working fine, it's NOT encrypting ANYTHING. Supposedly there's a way to actually verify the key, the manual talks about QR codes or manual verification, but I've as of yet not found out HOW to have it secure anything.

Yet the "key" is there at the top, so probably many people think they're sending secure messages. You are not unless some sort of key exchange actually happens. (the message "key exchange initiated" does NOT suffice.)

That all said, does anyone know how to actually exchange keys, for real? Thus far this thing is a big annoying piece of false sense of security (like image encrypt apps that really only change the extension from .jpg to .sec)

Downloader beware!
