text message nunber problem

Ok so I recently synched my facebook with my contacts. After getting everyone to be synched with theory Facebook I've noticed a problem. Now when I get messages from a driend that was in my contacts and is synched to Facebook, their number shows up next to their name and it is super anoying. Can I fix this or should I just sync my facebook?
