Tethering on a rooted X with Verizon

    although we do not encourage tethering, yes it is possible.

    Yes you can use wifi tether apps if you are on android 2.2 I believe that the update to android 2.3 blocks all tethering apps and brings up a Verizon pop-up screen asking if you want to sign up for a hotspot plan.

    GB blocks WiFi tethering, but USB works fine.
