I've run the math. Given its price-point, and a typical electrical utility tiered rate structure, payback is in about 360 years. No thanks. Solar PV isn't going to give you any leverage because it generates its peak power during the peak usage/demand.

This is NOT new, ground-breaking technology. This is simply a large Li-Ion battery. Period. And, if you take the time to see what your kWh demand is for your major appliances, you'll understand that your typical fridge will deplete the high-recharge cycle unit in about 3 hours.
