Speaker phone???

I use my speaker phone a lot and when I got my droid everyone says my phone sounds like crap. Is anyone else having this problem?

What do you mean? On their end (their phone) or them listening to your conversation over your Droid's speakerphone?

yes sorry I wasn't clear on my end it sounds good but on the other end people say I echo and sound very far away even when it is close to my mouth.

Try updating your PRL's.... not sure if it'll help but it's a start (*228, option 2)
Other people suffered from this issue as well, some had it resolved with the 2.0.1 update, while others exchanged their Droids... you might want to give VZW a call (*611) and see if it warrants an exchange.

I had this problem as well as the speaker phone not working at all. Verizon had me exchange the phone since I was within my 30 days. I now have a 47/09 build phone, so lets see how this one works.
