Hi all, I am wondering who hosts 3G networks. It might sound silly but I have no idea how 3G works. My question is simple. If I am at some place, who is serving up the 3g connection? Verizon or the place I'm at? Btw, I am with Verizon.

If you could please, it would be really nice to see where you got your information from.

3g is provided by verizon itself.

the only time you wouldn't be with Verizon is if you went to say, Canada, which has Rogers i believe.
