Songs/Podcasts cut short while playing - possible sleep mode?

Hi all, I just got the Droid X -

Problem = I listen to music or podcasts on Droid X in my car. After about 10-15 minutes of playing the music or podcast....it shuts off! I have to unlock the phone, go back to my music player and find the music or podcasts im listening to and restart it....ugh. (happens all the time with any song or podcast...)

Is there a sleep mode on the phone or something that is forcing the music or podcast to shut down after several minutes ( 10-15 min)?

I am using the music player that came with the Droid X so i dont think its the player...

any help out there?

Do you have a task killer or manager? Mine was "killing" my music, so I got rid of it. I'll just use a car charger

I tried uninstalling it like you noted but still the podcast or music shuts down after about 10 minutes of playing...

is my phone a defect or could there be something else i am overlooking?
