Something is turning on my wifi

I usually keep the wifi on my phone turned off, unless I need it. But lately, something has been automatically turning it on. I turn it off, and then when I check it a little while later, it's turned on again. I've tried turning the phone off and on again, but that doesn't seem to help. I only installed one new app recently - Missed Message Reminder. But that doesn't seem to even use the wifi. Nevertheless, I uninstalled it in case that was the culprit. But the problem is still happening.

Is there any way to tell what is turning the wifi on? Some kind of system log or something?
